"What if this could be different?"

Growing up, this was the question that fueled my curiosity. I found myself endlessly sketching new designs for airplanes, tinkering with cameras, and reimagining the look of my favorite video games. It wasn’t just about understanding how things worked, but about imagining how they could be clearer, more intuitive, and ultimately, better.

Today, this same curiosity is at the heart of my work as a product designer. I'm Winghi Li, a Seattle-based designer who believes that great digital experiences are born from this simple idea: transforming complexity into clarity.

I love taking photos and videos 📸

Beyond design, I’ve always been drawn to the lens—capturing moments, stories, and perspectives through photography and film. Whether it’s shooting on film, experimenting with digital tools, or working behind a cinema camera, I see visual storytelling as a way to frame emotions and transform everyday details into something memorable.

Engineering & Prototyping 🔨

Engineering & Prototyping 🔨

I enjoy bringing ideas to life with my hands—whether it’s building Arduino prototypes, experimenting with AR, or fixing my car’s brakes. For me, engineering is a way to test curiosity in the real world, turning abstract concepts into tangible experiences.

Always exploring 🛩️

I’ve always tried to stay curious and push beyond what’s familiar. From training for my private pilot license to climbing, skiing, and traveling, I’m drawn to experiences that challenge me and offer new perspectives. They keep me energized and remind me that growth comes from exploration.
